How to Delete Your Account
Method 1: Delete from Your Profile
- Log into your KitabuStream account
- Navigate to your Profile page
- Scroll down to the "Account Actions" section
- Click the "Delete Account" button
- Confirm your decision in the popup dialog
- Your account will be permanently deleted within 24 hours
Method 2: Email Request
If you're unable to access your account, you can request deletion via email:
Send an email to:

Include: Your registered email address and full name
We'll process your request within 48 hours and send you a confirmation email.
What Happens to Your Data
Data That Will Be Permanently Deleted
- •Profile Information: Name, email address, profile picture
- •Viewing History: All watched videos and watch progress
- •Preferences: Saved favorites, watchlists, and settings
- •Login Credentials: Password and authentication tokens
Data That May Be Retained
For legal, security, and business purposes, we may retain certain data:
- •Transaction Records: Payment history and invoices
Reason: Required for tax compliance and financial auditing (7 years)
- •Security Logs: Login attempts and security events
Reason: Fraud prevention and legal compliance (90 days)
Deletion Timeline
Immediate (0-24 hours)
Account deactivated, login disabled
Within 30 days
Personal data permanently deleted from active systems
Within 90 days
Data removed from backup systems
Important Notes
- ⚠Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone
- ⚠Active subscriptions will be cancelled immediately with no refund for unused time
- ⚠You will lose access to all premium content and viewing history
- ⚠If you change your mind, you'll need to create a new account from scratch
